Over two decades of experience with KPMG, progressing from Audit assistant to Director and the Head of IT Audit and business leader for KPMG Cayman Islands, Bahamas and BVI. Marlon is also one of 3 IT Audit leaders across the KPMG Island Group and uses his democratic style leadership which focuses on the greater good of the team and welcomes their feedback on how to improve team policies that have a direct impact on the on each individual.
- Extensive experience leading audits of listed entities, financial institutions, law firms, insurance captives and multinational groups.
- Specializes in leading IT Audit engagements which focus on testing General IT Controls and Automated Process Level controls.
- Specializes in performing SOC 1 and SOC 2 engagements for numerous clients based in Cayman Islands and the United States.
- As part of audit support, Marlon reviews approximately 80 SOC1 reports from across the globe providing a good understanding of industry standards, best practice and global trends.
- Perform readiness assessments for a SOC for Cybersecurity for a Cayman based client, which will be the first such engagement in the Cayman Islands.
