      Fahim is a Partner in KPMG’s Tax & Corporate Services department, with over 20 years of Tax Compliance and Advisory experience in the Middle East. He leads a team of tax professionals on the day-to-day delivery of Kuwait tax compliance and advisory matters for a large portfolio of multinational clients.

      Fahim has significant experience in assisting/advising clients on their tax matters including registration with the Ministry of Finance in Kuwait for tax purposes, review of agreements related to Kuwait operations, planning and selection of fiscal period, review of tax declaration to be filed to the Kuwait Tax Authority.    

      With the introduction of Kuwait Domestic Minimum Top-up Tax (“DMTT”) Law under the OECD’s Pillar 2 framework, Fahim advises clients in the local impact of the new legislation and supports client fulfilling compliance obligations. This includes transfer pricing projects and supporting client development of transfer pricing policies together with documenting these through establishment of Master and Local Files.  

      Fahim also has extensive experience in advising companies in respect of inbound investments in Kuwait. He has assisted major multinational companies in detailed treaty analysis around key topics of permanent establishment and dependent agency relationships, including drafting technical memos in this respect.
