Since founding KPMG Kuwait’s Accounting Advisory Services in 2005, Essam has led prospective financial analyses for public, private, governmental and non-profit clients. He has driven engagements across investment, real estate, manufacturing, trading, education, media and publishing. With 32+ years’ experience in Kuwait and Egypt, he continues to oversee complex advisory assignments. 

As Head of Accounting Advisory at KPMG Kuwait, Essam has guided teams on construction, investment, trading, manufacturing and media engagements. He delivers solutions for complex accounting issues, prepares claim files and reports presented to expert committees, and designs full accounting systems for new ventures — most notably advising a leading newspaper publisher on print-cost control, with a major newspaper publisher in Kuwait, where he guided company personnel on accurately recording and controlling the costs of printing daily editions.
