The Rwanda office offers KPMG’s core services in Audit, Tax and Advisory, supporting public and private sectors with specialized expertise in financial services, capacity building for government institutions, and International Development Advisory Services (IDAS). The IDAS business unit is well placed to carry out any assignment, leveraging its strong presence in the region and particularly within the Rwandan economy.
The IDAS practice in Rwanda has experience in successful management of numerous projects including Mastercard Foundation funded projects; The African School of Governance where IDAS manages the fund now in its third year; The Rwanda Creatives program, and The Office of the Auditor General of Rwanda in assessing the Disbursement linked indicators (DLI’s) to the World Bank. Additional engagements include the assessment of readiness for support by the Luxemburg Development Fund in collaboration with KPMG Finland.
Through the Rwanda office and team, KPMG maximises local content and manages day-to-day operations efficiently. The Rwanda team leverages international expertise from the IDAS Centre of Excellence in Nairobi and seeks additional technical input and advice from Uganda mainly where required when implementing programming.
