Ralf has an extensive international track record of over 22 years’ experience. Having worked in Japan, Hong Kong, Luxembourg, and Germany, Ralf is skilled in delivering complex project outcomes for leading organizations across different cultures, time zones and geographies.
Ralf advises clients across the financial services, technology, ENR, life sciences, automotive and other sectors on tax planning, transfer pricing, operating model design & implementation, restructurings, valuations, tax controversy, operational transfer pricing (OTP) and related areas. Within financial services, Ralf has advised many of the leading players in the banking, insurance, asset management, private equity and real estate sectors.
Specific to tax controversy, Ralf has worked on more than 40 Advanced Pricing Agreements (APAs), joint tax audits, ICAPs and numerous high-profile controversies on local and competent authority level with tax authorities in the US, Japan, China, Singapore and across the EU.
