Upon joining KPMG Minato Audit Corporation (currently KPMG AZSA LLC) in 1988, Megumu was engaged in financial statement audits for companies in various industries. Including 4 years based out of the London office, Megumu had extensive experiences servicing clients in financial statement audits, due diligence support, internal control verification, and regulatory investigations for major foreign financial institutions.In 2001, he helped establish KPMG's risk management advisory services practice and has since led numerous engagements related to enterprise risk management, internal controls over financial reporting (ICOFR), internal audit enhancement, board effectiveness evaluations, and corporate governance improvement. Since 2007, he has served as the KPMG Global Lead Partner for one of Japan's largest automotive manufacturer groups. He currently serves as an Executive Officer and Partner of KPMG Consulting, where he leads services for major automotive clients and supports mobility transformation initiatives.
