      Masayoshi Segawa worked at foreign, Japanese, and Big-Four consulting firms before taking his current position. He leads the CIO Advisory team at KPMG Consulting. He has over 25 years of consulting experience and a rich track record in solving issues of CIOs and IT organizations in various industries, such as IT governance including DX-oriented IT strategies, IT organizational and personnel strategies, IT investment management, and standardization of system development processes, and reform of IT subsidiaries. His strength consists in his rich experience of providing end-to-end support, from formulation of strategies to operational reforms, IT concept design, requirement definition, design/development phases, and change management. He also works widely on management strategies, new business strategies, sales reforms, HR reforms, and indirect operational reforms at IT companies. He has authored books, given lectures, and taken part in committees on numerous occasions. He served as a committee member of the Corporate IT Trends Survey from 2013 to 2025.
