An American based in Japan, he holds 25 years working with significant financial firms at all levels in front, middle and back office at KPMG. He currently runs a market leading Advisory practice tailored to the specialized needs of foreign firms in Japan.
He regularly advises on governance, market entry and expansion, licensing, special transactions, product development, risk management, compliance, internal control, financial and regulatory reporting. He is also the country lead partner for several key global banking clients in Japan, nurturing our advisory relationships and running strategically valuable projects.
Sitting on our KPMG Financial Services Japan leadership team, he holds total responsibility for the foreign advisory business, promoting continuous enhancement of the banking, capital markets and asset management industries.
