      Kenji Omori worked on the operation and maintenance of thermal power plants and facility management as the chief boiler/turbine engineer at a major power company. He introduced enterprise asset management and promoted smart industrial safety, contributing to on-site DX and refinement of industrial safety. He also participated in the study project related to expanded remote monitoring and control of distributed power sources, as part of the project for refinement of industrial safety regulations for new energy, etc. led by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. Since 2024, through his practice at KPMG Consulting, he has helped resolve management issues facing power, gas, and other energy companies, in such areas as DX promotion, legal compliance, new business development, operational reform, and management based on return on invested capital. He supports reforms through the triad of technology, system, and operations, from both on-site and managerial viewpoints.
