Since joining KPMG Peat Marwick & Co., Eiichi has over 34 years of experience with particular emphasis in financial statement audit, internal audit risk and compliance, structuring and M&A advisory. Technical expertise in revenue recognition, business combination, impairment and consolidation accounting with emphasis on manufacturing and life science sectors. Eiichi was named as designated Foreign Filing Review Partner in 2014 as the Head of U.S. Capital Markets Group Japan with responsibilities in reviewing SEC filing documents including Form 20-F, F-3 and F-4 for Foreign Private Issuers for KPMG in Japan. Since 2014 he was also named the Head of DPP of Asia Pacific region with responsibility over IFRS, ISAs and other professional standards for the region. He was also appointed as the Head of DPP Accounting in Japan in 2019 and was also named the Head of Audit of Asia Pacific region with responsibilities to manage the Heads of Audit of 12 Asia Pacific KPMG Member Firm practices.
