Ryan brings over two decades of experience delivering integrated audits, financial statement audits and attestation services to some of KPMG’s largest Global Systemically Important Financial Institution (G-SIFI) clients. He joined KPMG in 2003 in the Buffalo, New York, office before moving to the New York Financial Services practice in 2006. During his career, Ryan completed a three-year rotation with KPMG’s Department of Professional Practice and was admitted to the partnership in 2016.
Over the years, Ryan has held several key leadership roles, including SEC Reporting Partner, Clearing Broker-Dealer Reporting Partner, and emeritus member of the Audit Quality Support Partner Network. A recognized voice within the financial services industry, he has been a frequent speaker at the annual SIFMA Securities Conference and previously represented the firm on the AICPA Stockbrokerage and Investment Banking Expert Panel. Through these roles, he has contributed to industry publications and led numerous initiatives focused on advancing audit quality and professional excellence.
Drawing on extensive client-facing experience across KPMG US and the global organization, Ryan is helping drive GDC’s strategy of deeper integration with the KPMG US Audit and Assurance practice. In his current role as Head of GDC Delivery Services and Co-Head of GDC, he is focused on expanding integrated GDC One services, strengthening collaboration across teams, and building future-ready capabilities rooted in quality and innovation. Ryan is currently serving on secondment from the Northeast Financial Services (NEFS) practice.
Ryan is a devoted parent to his 11-year-old son and an enthusiastic cricket fan. He enjoys traveling, following sports, exploring different cuisines and spending quality time with his family, who have relocated with him to India during his secondment.
He is based in Bengaluru.
