Akshay is Partner and Lead - Public Transport & Logistics at KPMG in India. He is a seasoned infrastructure consulting professional with over two decades of experience. His expertise spans transport, logistics and the broader infrastructure ecosystem, having led consulting services and large-scale programmes across multiple geographies including India, South Asia, South-East Asia and Africa. His experience includes policy and programme advisory, transaction support, public-private partnerships (PPPs), asset monetisation and operational improvement for public and private sector clients as well as development finance institutions and investors. 

      Akshay has also driven strategic growth initiatives by developing new businesses, scaling practices and building market eminence through thought leadership, partnerships and industry engagement, while leading and mentoring diverse teams to deliver impactful outcomes.

      In the past, he has held various leadership roles and worked across organisations such as Crisil, Deloitte, J.P. Morgan and PwC. Akshay holds a Master of Business Administration from the International Management Institute, Delhi and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Economics from Sri Venkateswara College, Delhi University.
