Rushank is a senior audit partner and has close to 30 years of audit experience with the firm. His specialisation includes audits under U.S. PCAOB standards and International Standards of Auditing and reporting under multiple GAAPs including U.S. GAAP and IFRS. Apart from audit engagements, his experience spreads across varied service offerings such as IPO related audits (Indian and U.S. IPOs), SOX 404 attestations and due diligence assignments.
Rushank leads large audit engagements of companies listed in India as well as the U.S., across various sectors including technology, travel and tourism, healthcare, real estate, industrial engineering among others. Rushank is involved as an auditor in several capital market transactions, both in India and the U.S. He was also the lead audit partner on the first REIT Listing in India.
In addition to leading audits, Rushank holds key leadership roles within the firm, including the PCAOB and SEC practice in India, Bangalore Audit Leadership Team and the Japanese corridor for the audit practice in the South. He has led the firm’s efforts during PCAOB inspections, remediation efforts and on other regulatory matters. He maintains strong connections across the KPMG’s global network of member firms, collaborating closely with various teams on SEC and PCAOB-related topics, capital market transactions including quality control and compliance.
Rushank is also actively involved in the firm’s thought leadership initiatives and as a trainer on the firm’s IFRS, U.S. GAAP, SEC and PCAOB training programmes.
