The KPMG Irish Independent Property Industry Excellence Awards 2026 are now open for entry, marking 11 years of recognising the leadership, innovation and ambition shaping Ireland’s all-sector property industry.

Since their inception in 2015, the awards have celebrated the people, projects and organisations driving progress across the sector. Winners will be announced at the gala ceremony on Wednesday, 5 November 2026 at the Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road, Dublin — the industry’s largest business networking event, bringing together over 600 leading figures from across the property landscape.

These awards play an important role in capturing the full breadth of the sector – recognising not just commercial success but the leadership, innovation and purpose that drive lasting impact. The ambition across Ireland's property sector is clear and with housing at the top of the national agenda, there is an acute need to champion those turning that intent into real, lasting impact.

Merit, independence and sustainability at the core

As the only property awards endorsed by relevant industry bodies, the Awards hold a unique position; commercial sponsorship of individual award categories is not permitted, which is a deliberate policy that protects the integrity of the judging process and ensures every winner earns their accolade on merit alone.

Entries are assessed by an independent judging panel drawn from across the industry's key verticals: planning, architecture, construction, agency, finance, technology, engineering, advisory, academic and state.

Sustainability remains a governing theme for the 2026 awards. The awards program honours targeted actions undertaken by industry stakeholders to improve environmental credentials and address local and global sustainability challenges that align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal #9 (Industry Innovation & Infrastructure), Goal #11 (Sustainable Cities & Communities), and Goal #13 (Climate Action).
