      On Thursday, November 6, the 10th annual KPMG Irish Independent Property Industry Excellence Awards took place at the Convention Centre Dublin, bringing together over 600 industry leaders to honour the achievements, innovation, and leadership shaping Ireland’s built environment.

      Since its inception in 2015, the awards have recognised the people, projects, and organisations driving progress across the property sector. This year’s ceremony marked a decade of excellence, with winners announced across 11 categories, including the prestigious Lifetime Property Excellence Award.

      Integrity & sustainability

      The awards are distinguished by their fully independent judging process and a strict no-sponsored-categories policy, ensuring transparency, integrity, and the confidence of the Irish property sector, backed by endorsement from leading professional bodies

      Sustainability remains a governing theme for the 2025 awards. The awards program honours targeted actions undertaken by industry stakeholders to improve environmental credentials and address local and global sustainability challenges that align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal #9 (Industry Innovation & Infrastructure), Goal #11 (Sustainable Cities & Communities), and Goal #13 (Climate Action).


      Lifetime Achievement Property Excellence Award

      The 2025 KPMG Irish Independent Property Industry Excellence Awards, the landmark 10th anniversary edition of Ireland’s premier celebration of excellence in the property & real estate industry, took place last night at the Convention Centre Dublin. Leading figures from across architecture, construction, planning, development, and real estate gathered to honour projects and people shaping Ireland’s future.

      This year’s Lifetime Property Excellence Award was presented to Stephen Vernon, honouring his extraordinary career and enduring impact on Ireland’s property landscape.

      Stephen’s legacy is one of bold vision, transformative leadership, and sustained excellence. From pioneering developments to shaping the future of real estate investment, his contributions have helped define the modern Irish property sector.

      Gala Awards night

      The black-tie awards ceremony was held on the evening of Thursday, 6 November, at the Convention Centre Dublin. 600 property stakeholders from across Ireland gathered to celebrate outstanding achievements in excellence, innovation, and leadership across the sector. 

      This prestigious event continues to serve as a unique cross-sector gathering, bringing together professionals from construction, engineering, architecture, planning, financial institutions, and professional services. It offers a valuable opportunity not only to recognise and reward excellence, but also to network and forge meaningful connections across the industry.
