Ian is a managing director in our Cyber Practice, leading the Cyber Tech & Transform competency. With over 28 years of experience across private and public sectors, Ian combines deep technical expertise with strategic leadership.
He has held multiple interim CISO roles and has a proven track record in cyber strategy development, security architecture design, and large-scale transformation programmes.
Ian’s skill set spans cloud security, identity and access management (IAM), threat and vulnerability management, operational technology (OT) security, and regulatory compliance frameworks including NIS2, DORA, ISO and NIST standards.
He is highly experienced in incident response, crisis management, and cyber resilience planning, including executive-level scenario simulations to strengthen organisational preparedness.
