Presidential, government and ministerial laws and regulations, decrees and rules continue to be issued in 2024 and 2025 as the regulatory landscape evolves in Indonesia in line with a general ongoing government reform agenda. The content of this publication, to the best of our knowledge, reflects current legal and regulatory positions as of December 2024 and in some cases periods in 2025, but even at the time of writing and publication of this document, new laws and regulations continue to be issued, including around international arbitration practices and rules; further streamlining of business licensing; tightening of onshore retention of export proceeds and other areas. Thus, this publication is not intended to be a substitute for formal legal, tax or other professional advice.
