How can the new leadership task be tackled?

How can the new leadership task be tackled?

folk puzzle

The strategic work with sustainability and ESG is one of the most important tasks for leaderships and boards now and in the coming years and a prerequisite for being able to attract talent, investors and green financing and be an attractive supplier in the market.

Therefore, KPMG is pleased to invite you to our event Insights into ESG: Sustainable Leadership on November 1, 2022, at. 15.00-19.00 in connection with the publication of the book  ’Bæredygtig ledelse – ESG som den nye ABC for ledelser og bestyrelser’  by Jeanette Fangel Løgstrup, to which KPMG has contributed.

Here, on the basis of concrete experiences from the business world, cases and deep insights, we will provide examples of and discuss how the new leaderhip task can be approached. To make us wiser about this, we are joined by Jacob Aarup-Andersen, CEO of ISS Group, Tonny Thierry Andersen, Executive Vice President of Nykredit, and Michael Birkebæk Jensen, Partner, NewTech lead and Head of ESG at KPMG Denmark. We will finish with a panel discussion: What is the key to green transition? With the participation of, among others, Nana Bule, CEO of Microsoft Denmark, and Bo Rygaard, Chairman of the Board of Netcompany Group.

We hope to meet you for an inspiring afternoon with relevant presentations and exciting dialogue!

Seed paper

At KPMG, we think ESG into everything we do – so if you have received a physical invitation to this event, it is printed on sustainable 'seed paper' and you can actually plant it.

Seed paper contains the plant varieties poppies, daisies and forget-me-nots.

Here's how you plant it:

1. Put the paper in water overnight.

2. Tear the paper into small pieces and plant it under a thin layer of soil.

3. Place the pot in a warm and sunny place.

4. Keep the paper moist until it germinates. Be careful not to overwater.

5. Wait for the seed paper to germinate
