Jan Hove Sørensen

Jan is Partner within KPMG's Deal Advisory in Denmark since 2018 and is leading our Corporate Finance team. Prior to that, Jan worked as a Partner at a leading Danish private equity firm for more than 10 years, where he was responsible for a wide range of acquisitions and divestment of companies. Previously, Jan worked in senior positions at a number of global consulting, IT and engineering firms in both Denmark and abroad. Jan has for more than 10 years served as chairman and non-executive director at several board of directors, and is also a part of faculty at the Board of Directors program at Copenhagen Business School.

Jan has acted as a trusted advisor to top management, and has extensive experience in leading M&A projects - from both a buyer and seller perspective - at companies, private equity and venture funds. In addition, Jan has significant experience in strategy assignments and business development with a focus on growth and optimization in Danish and international companies; especially with sectors such as in technology, engineering and professional service companies.
