      About the event

Join KPMG for a focused event on the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA), bringing together industry experience and regulatory perspectives to explore how organisations are moving from formal compliance to real operational resilience.

With DORA now in effect, many financial institutions and critical service providers are facing the practical challenges of implementation. This event looks beyond the regulation itself and focuses on what works in practice, where organisations typically struggle, and how regulatory expectations align with industry realities.

You will hear concrete lessons from an industry representative with hands‑on DORA implementation experience, followed by a regulatory perspective highlighting key expectations, common challenges, and focus areas going forward.

The event is held in a closed forum to encourage open dialogue and exchange of perspectives.

      What can you expect?

Regulatory perspective – expectations and focus areas
A representative from the regulatory side provides a view on DORA from a supervisory perspective, including:

      • Regulatory expectations regarding implementation and maturity
Typical observations and focus areas across the sector
      • The gap between formal compliance and effective operational resilience
      • Key areas institutions should pay particular attention to going forward
This perspective is intended to contextualise the industry experiences and support a constructive dialogue between regulators and the market
Industry Perspective – DORA in practice
An industry representative shares concrete experiences from working with DORA implementation, including:
      • Key decisions and priorities in the implementation journey
      • Practical challenges and lessons learned along the way
      • Where organizations typically struggle – and where DORA can create real value
      • Reflections on what other financial institutions should consider as they move forward
      • The presentation provides an honest, experience-based view of what it takes to make DORA operational in day-to-day practice.

      Who should attend?

The event is designed for leaders and specialists from banks, insurance companies, pension funds and critical financial service providers working with DORA, operational resilience, risk, compliance, or IT governance, who want practical insights into how regulatory expectations translate into real‑world implementation.
