Amanda Jess is a Senior Manager in KPMG’s Nordic Department of Professional Practice (DPP), where she leads Nordic groups and projects focused on digital audit methodology, the use of AI, and IT audits. As part of this role, she has co-led the Danish implementation of KPMG Clara AI Transaction Scoring, with responsibility for methodology and compliance.
She holds an MSc in Business Economics and Auditing and has earned a Certificate in AI, Prompt Engineering, and Technology Ethics from KPMG International. She is currently studying to become a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) with ISACA.
With more than 10 years at KPMG, Amanda has gained extensive audit experience and has specialized in integrating technology and tools into audits from a methodology perspective. Her primary focus is ensuring that audits comply with relevant standards while enhancing quality and delivering value to both auditors and clients.
Amanda is also an active facilitator in Denmark and across the Nordics, supporting the technical upskilling of auditors. She plays a key role in coordinating collaboration among subject matter experts from different teams, ensuring the effective review, approval, and adoption of new audit tools.
