Niklas is a Partner in KPMG Denmark’s Digital Risk Advisory and leads the Cyber security services. With a solid experience in cyber security. Being an experienced cyber security professional with a broad background of military, industry and consultancy experience. Providing clients with C-level advisory, acted as both as a permanent and interim CISO, and providing program oversight for security service deliveries. He has worked and advised both public and private clients on this area. He was also a member of the Danish National Cyber Security council 2021 - 2023
Niklas has a good technical understanding of many IT security solutions and how they can help organizations enhance their security levels. With more than 26 years in the Danish military as a senior NCO Niklas has achieved a great knowledge on leading and managing smaller and larger groups of specialized people and teams. Having served abroad in international missions and working for a Global Service Integrator, Niklas has worked across different industries, cultures and organizational setups. This he has used when connecting people, processes, and technologies to ensure that organizations are better equipped to develop and decide on their information and cybersecurity strategies.
In addition to his extensive knowledge of IT security solutions, Niklas also has insights into services related to cybersecurity, including threat intelligence, - hunting, network analysis, Security architecture, Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), Security Awareness training, cyber security maturity assessments, Regulatory assessments e.g. NIS 2 etc.
