Rasmus is a Senior Manager and part of KPMG’s Nordic Department for Professional Practice (NDPP). He specializes in financial reporting under IFRS and the Danish Financial Statements Act. Rasmus rejoined KPMG in 2025 after working at another Big 4 firm and serving as a Senior IFRS specialist in two large Danish companies.
Prior to rejoining KPMG, Rasmus worked within Assurance and Accounting Services at another Big 4 firm and spent six years in two large Danish companies, where he was responsible for the preparation of both consolidated and separate financial statements. Alongside audit work, his primary focus has been on IFRS and the Danish Financial Statements Act.
Rasmus has experience delivering both compliance-related services, including reviews of financial statements, and accounting advisory services. His advisory work includes adoption of IFRS, improvements to note disclosures, and the implementation of IFRS 15 and IFRS 16. Through his combined background in professional services and in-house roles, Rasmus brings strong technical insight and practical understanding to complex financial reporting matters.
