      Morten is a Partner and co-lead of the Energy & Green Transition team at KPMG Denmark.

      His main area of expertise is within the development of large energy infrastructure projects and has advised clients on market conditions, regulation, strategy, project management, risk management and profitability assessments in relation to new projects in the Danish energy market. Key areas of focus include hydrogen, natural gas, power, carbon capture and storage, and energy security.

      Morten works both with private and public sector clients and is Client Lead Partner for Energinet, Denmark’s electricity and gas transmission system operator.  Morten is also the Danish country lead in KPMG’s Global Hydrogen Network and a member of the Danish CCUS Alliance.

      Morten has over 20 years’ experience within the energy sector. Before joining KPMG, he worked at COWI where he was part of an engineering team and later at DONG Energy, where he held a number of management positions in relation to the maturation and operations of upstream oil and gas assets. Morten has a Chemical Engineering background and therefore brings a deep technical understanding to client discussions.
