Malene is a state-authorized public accountant at KPMG Denmark and a member of the Nordic Department of Professional Practice (NDPP), where she focuses on IT auditing and other statements regarding IT environments and compliance across the Nordic region. She has more than 15 years of experience in auditing and works with both national and international clients across industries, including tech companies.
Malene specializes in IT risk management, internal controls, and compliance, helping clients navigate increasingly complex IT environments and regulatory requirements. She has solid experience in integrating technology into the audit process and works purposefully to translate technical requirements and risks into clear conclusions and practical recommendations that create value for the company and its management.
She often acts as a link between IT functions, financial teams, and management, contributing to a common understanding of risks, controls, and business implications.
