Peter Aamann is a Director in CFO Advisory at KPMG, responsible for services provided from the Aarhus office, with many years of experience as a Management Consultant handling a broad range of tasks within the finance function. His expertise covers both operational and developmental areas, as well as support to general management.
Peter has solid experience from a combination of both audit and CFO advisory roles within two Big Four firms and has for several years been employed in private equity-owned companies in the wholesale and retail industries. This mix of consulting and corporate experience has given him versatile skills and a strong understanding of how finance functions operate in different business environments.
He has extensive experience in the interfaces between IT, supply chain management and finance, and understands how these areas interact and impact overall business performance. His focus areas include financial optimisation, ERP implementation, and digital transformation, where he helps clients strengthen their finance functions and improve efficiency.
During his time away from advisory, Peter handled a variety of tasks within internal and external reporting, analysis and management presentations. His experience therefore extends beyond traditional finance, enabling him to work with both financial and commercial issues.
