Francois Marlier

François is a senior consultant in Compliance Management & Transformation with a strong professional background in risk management and regulatory compliance, and an international profile, having lived, studied and worked in eight different countries since 2009.

After concluding his master's degree in law and economics, he joined the Risk Management function of Euroclear (a global financial market infrastructure) in London. There, he worked on establishing a risk management framework supporting the company's strategy, in line with international best practices and regulatory expectations. He also assessed the impact that Brexit would have on the company's business objectives and operations, and joined its Brexit project team to manage the risks and deal with the consequences of the vote.

After moving to Denmark in 2018, François first joined K2 Management as a risk consultant, where he applied his risk management experience to large renewable energy projects, supporting developers in assessing, analyzing, quantifying and budgeting for their projects' risks.

Then, early in 2020, François joined KPMG Acor Tax where his main focus has been on projects related to the EU's Mandatory Disclosure Rules, tax control frameworks, and Responsible Tax.
