As a company, we are not only an economic player, but also a social one. We put corporate responsibility into practice through programmes and initiatives that focus on the topics of "equal opportunities and high-quality education" and "lifelong learning". The personal commitment of our employees is a central element of our sustainability concept and is particularly valued and encouraged with up to four hours of time off per month. In line with our value "For Better. We do what really matters", we want to make a positive contribution to our community together with our employees.

Provide insights into other living and working environments

Initiatives such as JOBLINGE give our employees the opportunity to get involved in the community and help out. Contact with other professional and social environments is often associated with a personal challenge that broadens one's own horizons.

Giving something of what we do every day

In some programmes, we make targeted use of our professional expertise. For example, in our "Fit for Business" education programme, KPMG employees impart specific financial knowledge to schoolchildren. In addition, KPMG employees have been giving specialist lectures at more than 50 universities and universities of applied sciences for several years in order to share their practical and theoretical knowledge with students.

Our engagement programmes address current issues such as inclusion and integration and focus on the topic of education. After all, education is a human right and a cornerstone of sustainable development. Promoting lifelong learning for all is our global priority. Our activities address this topic and also contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) of the United Nations, with our focus here being on the sustainable support of SDG 4 "Quality Education". Our engagement formats are characterised by personal motivation, direct contact with the people we support and immediate help.
