In October, the office will move into the Vlněna business complex, which is located in the city centre, meets strict environmental certifications and has picked up several architectural awards.
KPMG's Brno office was established thirty years ago and initially consisted of a several-member team providing only audit services. Today, the Brno office is home to 150 colleagues of various backgrounds - from audit to tax, accounting and payroll, actuarial, and risk management to data analytics. "Our ambition is to expand across departments. We anticipate that there will be as many as 200 of us," head of KPMG's Brno office Barbora Šíblová outlines the plans.
With the expansion of services and teams comes relocation. From October this year, the Brno office will be located at a prestigious address in the Vlněna business park. "For 17 years, our home was the Platinia building in Veveří, but we are already hitting capacity there. Above all, we want to give our colleagues a top-quality working environment where they will feel comfortable. The space also allows us to respond flexibly to the current situation, where often one team works from different parts of the country. I believe that our clients will also be satisfied, both because of the great location and the modern meeting spaces," says Šíblová.
In selecting the new offices covering almost 1,800 sqm, KPMG placed importance not only on location, amenities, and design, but also on sustainability. "The Vlněna project was built to BREEAM standards, considering a wide range of categories and criteria from energy to ecology. Certification at the Excellence level means that it meets the highest standards in terms of sustainability," explains Pavel Kliment, chief operating officer and partner at KPMG Czech Republic.
