Jan Procházka has joined KPMG Legal as a partner after previously working as a partner at law firm Dentons. Jan has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), private equity, joint ventures, and complex corporate restructurings. He will be closely working with Daniel Szmaragowski (Head of Tax and Legal).
Jan has worked as the lead lawyer on a whole range of transactions, particularly in the engineering, automotive, retail, e-commerce, financial services, hospitality, renewables, TMT, food, life sciences, and chemical industry sectors, on behalf of domestic and international investors in the Czech and Slovak Republics as well as further afield in the CEE region. He also focuses on greenfield investments and outsourcing projects. The prestigious publications Chambers Global and Chambers Europe have repeatedly ranked Jan among the leading corporate/M&A lawyers in the Czech Republic.

Jan has almost 25 years of professional experience. For the last four years he has been a partner at law firm Dentons. Before that, he worked at Clifford Chance, Salans, and Altheimer & Gray. Jan is a graduate of the Charles University Faculty of Law and received his LLM degree at the University of Chicago, Law School.
