George joined KPMG in Cyprus as a Partner in 1997 and has since built extensive expertise in area like Financial Services, Health Care, Travel Leisure and Tourism, Transport and Logistics, Energy and Natural Resources.
Over the financial sector, his services span from external and internal audit, as well as advisory support on regulatory compliance for entities in the sector.
For several years, George has been part of KPMG Cyprus’ interoffice review team, contributing to the assessment and enhancement of audit quality. He is also a member of KPMG’s IFRG team, providing training and guidance on the application of IFRS, with a particular focus on standards relevant to financial services.
George previously served for a number of years on the Financial Services Committee of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus, helping shape policy in collaboration with regulators and government stakeholders.
