Maria is Principal at KPMG’s Indirect Tax Department, with extensive experience in Cypriot and European VAT legislation. She has more than 15 years of experience providing audit and Indirect Tax Services.
Maria provides professional services to several large multinational and local enterprises in various industry sectors since 2010, with focus on financial services, real estate development, restaurant, tourism, education and shipping industry.
Since joining the Indirect Tax Department, Maria attended various international training sessions organised by KPMG’s Tax Business School, as well as a number of local seminars. Maria provided indirect tax services for a major portfolio of clients, including entities and groups involved in tourism, passenger and freight transport, security, financial services, real estate development, supplying of goods and services.
Maria has been a presenter of numerous in-house audit seminars. Furthermore, she has been an instructor/facilitator for various in-house and open Indirect Tax seminars.
On April 2017 Maria was certified by the HRDA as a “Trainer of Vocational Training”.
