Overview

What’s next for IT Governance?

This year’s IT Governance Event explored how IT Governance evolved to drive value, align strategy, manage performance, and mitigate risk. The event covered the growing significance of Third-Party Risk Management, insights into the complexities of Large System Transformation, and the influence of regulations shaping the cyber and risk agenda.

Participants engaged in interactive breakout sessions in our Insights Center and Innovation Lab, focusing on "Third Party Risk Management" and "The impact of regulations on cyber governance."

We were also delighted to virtually welcome Prof. Dr. Steven De Haes, Dean of Antwerp Management School, who shared his insights and latest research on Board dynamics and governing Technology.

It was a great opportunity to gain practical knowledge, exchange ideas, and connect with peers from across the industry.

We loved seeing you there!

Impressions

Through expert-led panel discussions and hands-on breakout sessions, participants exchanged insights on emerging regulations, third-party ecosystems, and the shifting role of governance as a business enabler.

Here are 3 key takeaways that stood out:

  • IT Governance is shifting — it's no longer just about control but enabling business strategy.
  • Third-Party Risk is rising — and organizations need smarter tools to manage these growing networks.
  • Cybersecurity Regulations are tightening — but the companies getting it right start at the board level.

Whether you're leading digital transformation or navigating compliance, one thing is clear: IT governance must be a driver of trust, not just a checklist.
