Priya has over 25 years of experience providing corporate governance advisory, compliance, internal audit and enterprise risk management services to various clients in the financial and non-financial services sector in over 25 countries.

Priya leads the Risk Consulting practice at KPMG in Bahrain and is a member of the Firm’s Board. She has over 25 years of experience providing clients around the world with internal audit, corporate governance advisory, enterprise risk management, forensic and financial risk management services.

Priya plays an active role in the Risk Consulting industry – she was a member of the steering committee which developed the code of corporate governance for the Kingdom of Bahrain and is a board member of the Institute of Internal Auditors – Qatar Chapter.

Priya has conducted risk-based internal audits and key controls review for companies involved in the financial services, government, food and beverages, travel and hospitality, energy, telecommunications, transportation and real estate sectors in Bahrain, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Singapore and Hong Kong.
