Background information
Morgan Kelly, Phil Quinlan and Amanda Coneyworth were appointed Voluntary Administrators of the Companies on 10 January 2020.
The first meeting of creditors was held at 11:00AM on 22 January 2020 at Wesley Conference Centre, 220 Pitt Street, Sydney NSW 2000.

Outcome of the Second Meeting of Creditors
At the Second Meeting of Creditors which was held on 17 February 2020, creditors voted in favour of the following:
- The Voluntary Administration of Global Travel Holdings Pty Ltd end and control of the entity be returned to the Directors
- A Deed of Company Arrangement be executed for the remaining entities:
- Excite Holidays (Australia) Pty Ltd
- Global Travel Specialists Pty Ltd
- Events NG Pty Ltd
- Travel Serv Co Pty Ltd Pty Ltd
The Deed of Company Arrangement was executed on 6 March 2020.
We have now distributed the Deed Fund in accordance with the DOCA and the DOCA has now been effectuated.
Accordingly, we retired as Deed Administrators of the Companies effective 30 November 2021 and the Companies are no longer subject to DOCA.
Excite Holiday’s Booking Platform
Since the appointment of Voluntary Administrators on 10 January 2020, the booking platform was switched to “view” only mode. We have continued to maintain access to the booking platform for travel agents over the last six weeks so that agents can view/retrieve any booking information.
As a result of the sale of the booking platform, access will be closed effective from 2:00pm (AEDT) on Thursday 20 February 2020 moving forward.
If you have not already done so, you may want to take this final opportunity to retrieve any booking information you require from the platform.
