      Martin is the Chairman of KPMG Asia Pacific and KPMG Australia. He serves as a member of KPMG’s Global Board and Global Executive Committee, Global Audit & Finance Committee and Global Governance Committee.

      KPMG Asia Pacific is one of three major geographic regions in the KPMG network with over 55,000 employees in 20 jurisdictions providing Audit, Tax and Advisory services.

      Martin was elected Chairman of KPMG Australia in 2023 and became Chair of KPMG Asia Pacific on 1 October 2025. In these roles Martin is responsible for ensuring KPMG firms across the Asia Pacific region uphold the highest professional standards and deliver against the KPMG network's Collective Strategy. Together, KPMG ASPAC member firms strive to be the most trusted and trustworthy professional services firm, delivering positive impact for our clients, people and community.

      Prior to Martin’s election as KPMG Australia’s National Chairman, Martin was KPMG's National managing Partner of Client Growth and Markets, a member of KPMG's National Executive Committee (NEC) and previously held the role of National Managing Partner Brand & Innovation.

      Martin has worked with KPMG in London, Sydney and Melbourne and across the firm’s audit, transaction services and advisory practices. He has led some of firm's largest Australian, regional and global clients, advising on prominent capital markets transactions.

      Outside of KPMG, Martin served as CEO and Managing Director of an ASX 100 listed company.

      Martin’s expertise includes public company operations, governance, corporate finance, acquisitions and divestment, business development, restructuring, investor relations, and brand and marketing. He is passionate about sustainable growth harnessing the potential of technology and innovation, strategy development, and building executive capability.
