Joelene Pierce

I am a partner in the Financial Services practice, based in Johannesburg, South Africa. I provide audit/assurance services to financial institutions. My areas of expertise include retail banking, corporate treasuries, securities trading, investment funds and asset based securitisation structures. I also have experience in regulatory reporting for clients who are registered with financial services professional bodies viz. The Financial Services Board, National Credit Regulator and the South African Reserve Bank. I am the Banking Sector Lead for South Africa and am a member of the KPMG National Policy Board, Transformation Advisory Board and Financial Statement Review Committee. I have international experience, having worked for KPMG in the Luxembourg Office (Financial Services) and London Office (Financial Services and Technical Accounting and Reporting).
