Thina has been with KPMG for 27 years in total and has 23 years of valuation experience, specialising in valuations for commercial and financial reporting purposes. Thina has worked on a wide range of assignments including corporate valuations, purchase price allocation valuations (IFRS 3), Impairment of Assets (IAS 36) and fair value reviews (IFRS 13) and has provided audit support valuation reviews for financial reporting purposes. Thina is an Accredited Valuer of KPMG (the accreditation is managed by KPMG’s Global Valuations Accreditation sub-committee) and represents KPMG Africa on the global Valuations and Impairment Topic Team and the global Technical Committee. Thina has provided services in several industries, with specific attention to mining, financial services, industrial and consumer markets, and has provided valuation advisory and audit support services to a significant number of listed and unlisted entities.
