Michael (Mike) is a Partner in the Johannesburg Deal Advisory team and is the head of KPMG South Africa’s Mergers and Acquisitions (“M&A”) practice. Mike has more than 17 years of transaction experience in South Africa, Europe, and Africa. His experience across all aspects of corporate finance including, inter alia, mergers and acquisitions, disposals and take-over offers, debt and equity capital raisings, debt restructurings, business valuations, financial modeling, due diligence, project evaluation, and capital allocation. Mike has also acted as a global project manager on various complex multi-jurisdictional assignments and has a strong international network within and outside of KPMG Mike is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accounts.
