Pierre has over 25 years of experience in financial services and banking, delivering assurance and advisory solutions to a wide range of financial institutions. He also served as a partner in Tanzania for three years, gaining valuable regional expertise.
Throughout his career, Pierre has led audits for numerous international and local banks and acted as the lead audit partner for financial institutions expanding across Africa. His deep technical knowledge and practical approach place him at the forefront of best practices in South Africa and the global financial services industry.
Pierre began his career with KPMG in 1992 in the audit division and was promoted to Audit Manager in 1995, specializing in financial services as well as the power and mining sectors. He was appointed Director of KPMG South Africa on 1 September 2000.
