· Offer extensive support to a major insurance company during the Ministry of Public Security's review of their privacy compliance, including helping to prepare a gap analysis, updating documents, and compiling a privacy audit report.
· Perform a data privacy compliance audit for a leading Singapore-based bank based in Vietnam.
· Provide legal ad hoc support for a Japanese MNC for the handling of their data breach incident
· Providing comprehensive legal advice on data privacy and cybersecurity for an Indian bank based in Vietnam.
· Perform privacy gap analysis and documentation for an international hotel chain with over 20 properties in Vietnam and a complex cross-border data processing system.
· Providing a full PDP review and advice package for a finance leasing multinational company based in Korea pursuant to Vietnamese laws.
· Designing privacy policy and consent mechanism for a convenience store brand to assist them in launching their online sales and recruitment platform.
· Perform a privacy gap remediation project for a luxury MNC, with the work streams ranging from consent mechanisms, data subject rights, CCTV, filings, network security, etc.
· Complete an advisory and training project for a credit scoring company on the PDPD and its impact on their business models, with practical advice on compliance strategies.
· Provide legal advice and conduct due diligence for a M&A project to acquire an e-wallet company.
· Provide guidance on cybersecurity and data localization for a global cloud company.
· Provide advice on a number of privacy issues (including data subject rights, data caching via local points of presence, etc.) for a global social networking platform.
· Defend a major OTT streaming platform’s compliance position from the Government’s actions and the risk of service blockage in Vietnam.
