Huong is a Deal Advisory Partner based in KPMG's Ho Chi Minh City office. With over 30 years of professional experience, she has held numerous leadership roles across advisory, finance, banking, and corporate transformation projects, including:
- Leading financial due diligence and M&A advisory engagements for more than 250 transactions across a wide range of industries in Vietnam. In many of these engagements, Huong served as the overall engagement leader, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing stakeholder communications.
- Serving as Group CFO for a leading consumer goods company, overseeing finance and accounting functions, business planning, financial modelling, IFRS compliance, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Managing a large-scale corporate restructuring project funded by international development organizations, focusing on operational and financial transformation.
- Acting as Initiative Director at a major commercial bank in Vietnam, with a focus on risk management and strategic initiatives within the wholesale banking segment.
- Leading audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of multinational and domestic organizations across various sectors.
- Reviewing and establishing accounting systems, internal controls, and financial governance frameworks for organizations operating in Vietnam.
