The firm’s Family Office and Private Client practice has also made 3 director promotions.

The Family Office and Private Client (FO & PC) practice at KPMG UK has promoted Craig Rowlands to Partner as the firm continues to grow its team that supports high net worth and family office clients.

Craig has been with KPMG for more than a decade and leads the FO & PC practice’s offering in Reading. His role focuses on working directly with the owners of private businesses and supporting them through complex transactions, such as third-party sales, demergers and succession planning.

The FO & PC practice has also made a series of Director promotions in recent weeks, including Richard Green, Jonathan Peall, and Tom Young. The promotions reflect the commitment of the firm to bring talent through the business, particularly with the support of the bespoke FO & PC mentoring programme, which is open to all colleagues in the team.

The practice is also expanding and bringing new talent into the firm. Recent hires include Director Hannah Keens who specialises in advising international individuals and their families on all aspects of UK tax, including residence, domicile and succession planning.

In recent months, KPMG has also appointed Director and Head of US High Net Worth Linus Ostberg, as well as Director and Head of FO & PC in Scotland Chris Smith. Last year, the firm appointed Director Alice Killingbeck to head up its FO & PC legal offering.

Greg Limb, Partner and Head of the Family Office and Private Client at KPMG UK, said: “The global and domestic tax landscape is going through a remarkable period of change and is becoming increasingly complex and difficult to navigate. That’s why we’re investing significantly in our team to bring the best talent to support clients through these challenges and meet their needs – whether they are family businesses or offices, professional partnerships, or individuals.

“The fact that those promoted have been with us for many years shows our longstanding commitment to developing the deep pool of expertise we have here at KPMG and the opportunities available. They are also testament to the FO & PC mentoring programme which is transforming how we support our people and provide a platform to excel. We’re thrilled to make Craig Rowlands a partner – his experience, skill and steadfast approach to client service is a perfect representation of the team of professionals we continue to build at KPMG.”
