Mark has over 20 years of experience specialising in mergers and acqusitions (M&A) taxation and structuring for financial services clients.
Mark joined KPMG in November 2017 after spending 10 years at Barclays in London, where he had a variety of tax and structuring roles. He led the Barclays M&A tax team, working with in-house accounting and regulatory capital specialists, providing support across the entire transaction cycle on all Barclays’ global transactions as principal.
His final role at Barclays involved leading the global structural reform tax programme; he was involved in structuring, and had oversight of all tax issues and their financial and capital impact on the business, in relation to the set-up of the US Intermediate Holding Company, the ring-fenced bank, and the group service company.
