Sunil has over 20 years of experience in integrating taxes into transformation programmes. He has led a number of transformation projects to design ERP systems to ensure that they incorporate indirect tax, direct tax and local country statutory requirements. He has significant experience of designing and implementing tax technologies within ERP environments and the transformation of global tax compliance and reporting processes, including building tax and financial controls. He has also advised clients on tax processes and the migration to GBS / COE functions.

Sunil specialises in assisting clients with the strategic management of tax and statutory reporting, through better process management, setup of ERP systems, the use of tax technology and the design of the organisation. His focus is driving greater efficiency and effectiveness for the Tax Function through KPMG’s ‘Powered Tax’ assets.

He assists clients define tax requirements, perform design and deployment across systems such as SAP S/4 and Oracle. This has included the definition of native ERP functionality for tax determination and the implementation of tax engines. He has led the tax workstream on numerous Pan-European and Global deployments.
