Heather Sharp is a Partner within KPMG’s Economics team, leading our economic appraisal, economic impact assessment and evaluation work.
Using economic arguments, supported by robust evidence and analysis, Heather has delivered compelling and insightful analysis and advice to numerous public and private sector clients, across a wide range of sectors including: TMT; healthcare; retail and leisure; financial services; aerospace and defence; and local and central Government.
Her specific areas of focus are: economic and socio-economic impact assessments of companies, industries, events and capital and infrastructure projects; cost benefit analysis; regulatory and policy analysis; business case development; and economic evaluations.
Prior to joining KPMG, Heather was a Government Economic Advisor, predominantly at the (former) Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, where her role included developing economic cases and appraisals for existing and proposed policies and regulations, economic evaluations and regulatory and impact assessments.
She also advised ministers and other officials for key work streams such as Budgets and Spending Review.
