Guy Stallard is Deputy COO of KPMG Business Services (KBS) and Head of Indirect Supply Chain, as well as being a Board Director of the Indian-based KPMG Global Services (KGS).
Guy is a chartered accountant who has worked at KPMG since 1987, starting his career in Audit and Transaction Services, before moving into an internal-facing role in 1998 as KPMG UK’s first Financial Controller. Guy transferred to run Facilities in 2006 becoming European Head of Facilities in 2007 and then over the next decade Guy shaped the Firm’s property strategy whilst also leading KPMG’s external work to promote the real Living Wage. When Guy became involved the concept was embryonic. Today there are now over 11,000 accredited organisations including half of FTSE100. In 2017 Guy became Head of Performance and Operations for the newly formed KBS whilst retaining his other responsibilities.
As Deputy COO, Guy is responsible for setting the strategy and overseeing the day-to-day commercial operations of KBS, ensuring the Firm gets the best value for money from the £ 300 million budget across all KBS Functions and services. He is also responsible for ensuring KBS operates with all the necessary operational risk and management controls.
As Head of the Indirect Supply Chain (Facilities and Procurement), Guy is responsible for the Firm’s property strategy, security and safety activities, and sourcing and supplier management of £ 550 million of external supplier spend. Guy also Chairs the Firm’s Environmental Steering Group which has responsibility for ensuring that KPMG demonstrates best practices that can be showcased to clients in terms of environmental performance.
