Nicola Hine

Nicola is a tax disputes lawyer in KPMG Law with a focus on complex direct tax matters. Prior to joining KPMG, Nicola worked at other leading tax litigation practices at city law firms.

Nicola has worked at every stage of the courts and tribunals system, including the First-tier Tribunal, Upper Tribunal, High Court (restitution and judicial review hearings), Court of Appeal, Supreme Court, Privy Council (pro bono), and Court of Justice of the European Union.

Other experience includes voluntary disclosures, dispute readiness, and opinions, including under legal advice privilege where appropriate. Nicola has an increasing focus on early-stage dispute resolution.

Her practice is non-sector specific but includes work for large corporates, insurers and brokers, oil and gas clients and pension funds.
