KPMG in the UK

  • Ian leads KPMG’s Accounting Advisory team in the Consumer Markets sector.
  • Ian is experienced in providing technical accounting advice to KPMG’s clients. This includes advice on the application of new and existing accounting requirements, and complex accounting advice on a range of business activities including mergers and acquisitions, tax structures, joint ventures leasing arrangements, financing transactions and group restructurings.
  • Ian is leading KPMG’s service offering on the upcoming changes to UK GAAP (FRED 82), having gained significant experience leading implementations of IFRS 15 Revenue, and IFRS 16 Leases.
  • Ian is also experienced at leading accounting projects in the Energy, Oil and Gas, TMT, Construction, Real Estate and Housebuilding sectors,
  • Prior to joining Accounting Advisory Services in London, Ian worked in CFO Advisory in Sydney and KPMG’s audit function in both the UK and Cayman Islands.
