He specialises in advising individuals, families, trustees and family offices on their tax issues in connection with their investments, properties and businesses. He also acts for the businesses that his private clients own, seeking to maximise the mutual benefit between owner and business. This includes a number of landed estates as well as other property and trading businesses. Daniel is particularly known for guiding his clients through complex decisions, keeping the focus on practicality and value for money.
Daniel graduated in Chemistry at Magdalen College, Oxford University in 1993. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1997 and then as a Chartered Tax Adviser, specialising in private client work throughout. Daniel joined KPMG in 2000 and became a partner in 2013.
