Martin provides advice and expert witness services to clients who need assistance with the financial and accounting aspects of a dispute

Martin is a Director in KPMG’s Dispute Advisory Services team within the Forensic practice. After three years undertaking auditing and accounts preparation work Martin joined the Forensic team in 2003 and has since specialised in that field, joining KPMG in 2011. Martin principally provides advice and expert witness services in relation to professional negligence claims. This includes advice or opinions on liability and/or quantum of loss in respect of the conduct and competence of accountants, auditors, actuaries and financial services professionals.

Martin also assists clients with investigations and calculating loss.  Examples of such assignments that Martin has recently led include the quantification of losses arising from: mis-sold financial products; an allegedly defective piece of industrial plant; and a joint-venture entity which was allegedly frustrated by the Defendant’s actions.
